So it's here! Another year in the making another harsh winter and great season is ahead of us... it can only mean one thing, The Lawnswood Arms beckons.
Alba will assume the gauntlet from our friends at the bottom of the Chevin, Otley CC, for the latest leg of the Reliability Ride series in late February.
So you've ticked off 'The Struggle' you say, you've motored off from Squires and you've made it to the top of Norwood the easy way? How did you survive the Olympic challenge posed half way through to make it to the top of the Wharfe Valley following in the footsteps of our late friend Craig? It must mean you've reached the Pub and ready for the final push through to the nice weather...?
Each year, we dedicate our ride to Alex Warburton, a friend and one of our earliest club members who died tragically after getting home from a club ride. All donations from the ride and any sign on fees will be sent to the Take Heart Charity based at Leeds General Infirmary to support the fantastic work they do.
Alba's challenge will see you head out to the east, over well trodden routes out towards Saxton and Church Fenton before heading back north towards Wetherby and up over the tops back to Arthington and a final push up the Lane.
